Which audio files can I upload?

Start at /app and upload a WAV, MP3, or AIFF file. Riffcairn checks the file in your browser before it starts the mastering workflow, so an empty or unsupported file can be corrected before anything is queued.

Can I hear the master before I pay?

Yes. Once your upload has been processed, the browser master preview lets you hear the proposed lift before you commit to the final export. Use that preview to decide whether the master is right for the track.

Question 3

What do queued, processing, ready, and failed mean?

Accepted Answer

Queued means the upload is accepted and waiting to run. Processing means mastering is underway. Ready, also shown as completed in some workflow messages, means the preview or export step is available. Failed means the job did not finish; use the retry or replacement-upload action shown on the track surface rather than paying again blindly.

What happens after I complete payment?

After checkout, wait for the server to verify the payment and connect it to the correct track. Payment completion alone does not unlock a download immediately; the final export becomes available only after verification and artifact readiness are confirmed.

Why is the final download still protected?

Accepted Answer

Final exports are account-protected. Open /app/library while signed in and download only when the track has an active entitlement and a ready final WAV artifact. If either check is still pending, the library keeps the download unavailable instead of exposing the file early.

Question 6

Can I switch between the original and mastered audio?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From /app/tracks/[trackId], use the comparison controls to switch between the uploaded original and the mastered preview. This makes it easy to A/B the change before you decide whether to complete the final-export purchase.
